For New FSU Researchers
The Office for Clinical Research Advancement offers all new FSU researchers – regardless of rank or tenure – a customized roadmap of human subjects research resources across campus. Contact us to schedule an onboarding session. When you first reach us to set up the onboarding, we’ll ask some brief questions about your research background and areas of interest so we can tailor the upcoming session to best fit your individual needs.
We will also cover some standard topics useful to any FSU researcher. General areas can include:
- Key research support offices at FSU – human subjects, research development, sponsored funding, compliance, commercialization
- Data storage, management and security
- Important electronic research resources available such as RAMP, REDCap, I2B2 and statistical analysis software
- Opportunities for informational workshops/training and helpful newsletters/listservs to stay informed and network
