IRB Assistance

The Office for Human Subjects Protection (OHSP) in conjunction with the FSU Institutional Review Board (IRB) serves to protect the rights and welfare of human subjects participating in research conducted by FSU faculty, staff, and students. These rights and protections are codified as federal regulations under the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) as well as other federal agencies. The U.S. Office for Human Research Protections enforces the DHHS regulations

To assist researchers with navigating the complex human subjects review process, OCRA can provide general guidance on federal regulations, IRB protocol development, reliance agreements involving multi-site studies, IRB protocol submission through the RAMP process, study modifications, serious adverse event reporting and continuing reviews. Contact OCRA for assistance.
